Everytime I walk into a book store I think to myself "man there are a fuck load of books in the world. So many different points of view, so much bull shit and lies. I wonder how much validity is in any of these books? Man their must have been a crap load of academics who spent countless hours researching and writing these things. Man I hate alot of academics, they are self-righeous, know it all pricks, that really only know alot about one particular thing, that is generally insignificat. Think of all the countless ideas that have been put forth and then 20 years later disproven and then forgotten about, and then brought back and become major works. I know myself just by looking at the stand of books infront of me, that the majority of published authors in the world think the conservative right and the Bush administration are a bunch of profitering, out of touch loonatics, that hate just about everything that isn't them, and that they are hell bent on destroying the world. If I am to belive the general concesus, then I guess I could avoid having to read this entire section of books by authors with names like: Coulter, Limbaugh, Lettow, York, and fuck even Machiavelli. But then again, one should always know both perspectives in order to obtain a greater understanding of what these people are feeeling, and thus get closer to the truth.
Then I think to myself, well all of these ideas have been around since the dawn of civlilization in one shape or another. Change the year, location, and names, but essentially all the same shit. Name your current ideology of the decade? We have more guiding principles to existence, then basken robbins has ice cream flavours. So what's the fucking point of learning anything? The only answer I can come up with..... cause either you or somebody else is making money off of it.


That rant went on much longer but i delted most of it. Anyhow this one book pissed me off.

This one book titled "Ronald Reagan and his quest to abolish Nuclear Weapons". Uhhh? Are you fucking serious? Reagan increased spending on the development of nuclear weapons to its highest point ever, and when Gorbachev put forrward an agreement to ABOLISH ALL NUCLEAR WEAPONS, he just fucking ignored it, and said "Fuck you Commies, the only reason why you are doing this is because you know you can't make as many nuclear weapons as us!!! DIE YOU RED FUCKS!! I'm going to put my weapons in space!!" (Their would have been an abolishment of all blastic missiles, and nuclear weapons, and Reagan agreed to not putting weapons in space.)

So one must wonder, what kind of institue did the author of this book come from?
If my memory serves me well, Cambridge and Oxford. In fact this book was spawned from his Oxford thesis.

In conclusion a University Education only guarntees one thing, no matter where you got it from.... You spent alot of money obtaining it. (NOTE: Countless countries have free university including: France, Germany, Cuba, Sweeden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, etc... There are even free universites in America!!!)
