If American elections actually meant something, the democrats would be smart to run Edwards for president, and Hillary or Obama for vice. Why? Purely because the democrats have never won the south with a non-southern candidate since they signed the civil rights act.
I'm predicting another fixed election; but then again third times a charm, so maybe they'll forfit this one and just do what they did after bush sr. lost; spend all efforts on finding a way to impeach the president.
