Nuclear Weapons & the U.N.

Here is a interesting article from the people at al jazeera, it essential states that America is selling Israel a crap load of bombs for about $319 million dollars.
At this same time we hear that pressure is being put on Iran because they are converting raw uranium into gas, which can be used for atomic weapons. Iran denies that they are building nukes, and that there nuclear program is entirely peaceful, however if I were in Iran I'd be wanting some nukes right now.
On this subject of selling producing weapons that kill everyone, i recommend spending a few minutes at this website. armcontrol.org
As for my opinion on nuclear arms, and who should, and shouldn't be allowed to have them, I have this to say"
If one country is entitled to produce, sell, and obtain nuclear weapons, then all countries should. be entitled to produce, sell, and obtain nuclear weapons. The reason behind this is such: Mutual self deterrence. Nobody will launch a nuclear strike because everyone has nuclear weapons. Un like in the case of the middle east, where the only nation with nukes is Israel. Were Israel to nuke Iran, there isn't necessarily a country that will immediately return the favour to Israel. This would also force nations that like to install crazy pyschopaths as leaders of other nations, to take more time, and think twice about who and why they would install these governments. Also it would force the world to collectively keep a closer eye on brutal regimes in places that are generally ignored until mass genocide takes place, like Africa.
However all this said and done I am still more in favour of ridding the world of Nuclear Weapons entirely, like the Russians wanted to do, but sadly Reagan and the republican assholes chose not to do this.

Anyhow I figured i should write something briefly on the subject. Here is Bush talking to the UN General Assembly. I thank Kofi Annan for his words said. the bull shit that is pouring out of Bush's mouth is making me sick, so i depart.

american oops

In case things couldn't get any worst.

Perpetual war for perpetual peace is perpetual bullshit.

It is now more then 3 years after September 11th, during this period of time just about every civil liberty that American's had has been taken away from them in exchange for a colour coded description of how fucking on edge they should be all of the time. The leader of al-Qaeda still hasn't been captured and we are led to believe that he is romping around in mountains and caves somewhere. Terrorist attacks continue all through out the world, also resulting in the first time in history that terrorism can actually change a governments foreign policy. (Spain in particular)
The war in Iraq is getting more violent, and increasingly out of American control, while the bodycount of American soldiers is getting closer to 1500, and the # of iraqi civilians killed is somewhere in the estimate of 13,000. The notion that Iraq had weapons of mass distruction has turned into this, and as for ties to al-Qaeda... that has been quietly ignored. The people of Afganistan are almost completely forgotten about, as the country falls back into the hands of warlords and religious extremists. I could carry on about prisoner abuses in Iraq and at Camp X-Ray, the Republicans failure to renew the anti-assault weapon bill, the massive American deficit, the rising unemployment, and a thousand other things, but I am going to try and keep this short.
The rest of the world realises how badly Bush needs to go but Americans still haven't quite figured it out, so if you know someone (especially if they are American) ask them on what grounds should people still trust this man for another 4 years? I am very curious to what kind of idiotic responses you will receive. The person who emails me the most interesting, amusing, and/or persuasive argument will win a prize.

I will keep this updated with much more frequency now that I have an internet connection again.

It's been awhile

Well it has been awhile since I have posted.
Some recent developments on what happened to my domain name (jamesmartinwindsor.com),
apparently a company out of New Orleans known as NOLDC, inc now has ownership over the domain. How, and more importantly why they did this is still unkown.

Recent violence in Chechnya may have you wondering why Russia has not granted this province independence like other surrounding nations such as Georgia, Azerbaijan. The reason why most places are never granted independence is because of some kind of economic benefit to the hosting nation. This will come to no surprise, Chechnya is a oil rich area. There seems to be alot of violence and conflict in oil rich areas of the world these days.

Oh uh wasted people have returned from the bars. Shall discuss more later.
