Villanelle For Our Time

From bitter searching of the heart,
Quickened with passion and with pain
We rise to play a greater part.
This is the faith from which we start:
Men shall know commonwealth again
From bitter searching of the heart.
We loved the easy and the smart,
But now, with keener hand and brain,
We rise to play a greater part.
The lesser loyalties depart,
And neither race nor creed remain
From bitter searching of the heart.
Not steering by the venal chart
That tricked the mass for private gain,
We rise to play a greater part.
Reshaping narrow law and art
Whose symbols are the millions slain,
From bitter searching of the heart
We rise to play a greater part.

i've got a lazy eye and so do these ladies

stumbled upon this while looking up information about lazy eyes. I'd be curious to see the male version of this list. Only one I know of is Thom Yorke.

yee old bloge

My girlfriend asked me if I knew about any cool blogs, and I could think of none. So alas here I am updating my old blog. The following I post with hesitation as nobody likes to have their own thoughts associated with "conspiracy", etc...
Anyhow this is an interesting little video that a Canadian kid made about his country. Ya its of poor production value, and the person who made the video injects himself continually into the film, it contains some pretty great interviews with our elected members of state.

While it loses focus, and facts are slightly dubious at times it is worth watching.
im kinda stoned on neo-citrons and cold medicine so i'm just gonna stop writing.
